TRAVEL LOGISTICS:

◇ Plan to arrive on site by 10:00am to check in on Thursday. CCF will provide lunch for you. Dinner is at 5:30pm, and we’ll begin at 6:30pm.

◇ You are welcome to arrive on site on Wednesday afternoon/evening, and many staff choose to do so in order to connect with other staff and get settled in. Please bring your own dinner or snacks if arriving on Wednesday - Thursday breakfast is provided.

◇   Please make your travel arrangements for Sunday to accommodate you leaving the site no earlier than 4:00pm.

◇ The drive from both the Bay Area and Portland takes about 5 - 5.5 hrs. If you are flying into Medford, your flight will need to arrive on Wednesday to ensure you arrive at the site on time for Thursday’s meeting.

◇ If you are driving, you can type in “The Aerie Retreat Center” into Google or Apple Maps and it will give directions directly to the property.

Once you make a left onto Bear Valley Road, you may lose cell service, also some helpful tips:

  • Stay straight on Bear Valley (gravel road) for 1.5 miles (please check your odometer)

  • You may be tempted to go left to the Prock farm or right on Wild Cow Road, don’t do that.

  • Ignore “Private Property” signs. You are an invited guest.

  • At 1.5 miles you will pass the Hartman ranch on the left and see the sign for The Aerie Retreat Center straight ahead, under the sign of the Eagle & 20740.

  • Take the one lane road (the right hand choice) until the deadend.

  • You will see the sign for The Aerie pointing to the right.

  • Turn right onto the driveway. You will see The Aerie is ¼ mile up the hill.

  • You can park behind The Aerie - Turn left and go around back to unload items, and then park in the empty gravel lot to the right of the Healing House.

About Pre-Connection Call for Participants:

This is a new offer that CCF created. It allows participants to see and meet fellow participants, facilitators, and possible staff before the workshop. We also offer them additional logistics and share more about what to expect. We would love to have as many women staff members there as possible, but you are not required to attend.
