LDT Scholarship Application Policies

CCF LDT Scholarship Applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Complete and submit an application at least 7 weeks before the start of Module 1

  • Provide documents that support proof of income at least 7 weeks before the workshop start date

  • If awarded a scholarship and choose to accept it, pay the remaining balance or sign up for a payment plan at least 5 weeks before Module 1’s start date

What should I expect if I apply?

5 weeks prior to Module 1’s start date, you will be notified by email whether or not you are being awarded with a scholarship and if so, the amount of the scholarship.


By 4 weeks before workshop start date, you must accept or decline your award by sending us an email and by submitting your LDT deposit of $1,000 or submitting any required payment for your remaining balance. If the committee does not hear back from you regarding if you accept or decline the award, then the scholarship you were offered will be nullified.

The LDT is a 10-month program. The total cost of the 10-month program is $7997 tuition, plus food and accommodation fees for each of the three in-person modules. You are also responsible for your own travel to and from each event.

Module One: April 17- April 25 in Gore, VA (at The Land Celebration)

Module Two: July 28- August 2 in Gore, VA (at The Land Celebration)

Module Three: December 3-6 in Templeton, CA (at Dancing Deer Farm)
$595 Food and Accommodation Fee

You must attend each in-person module in its entirety or you will be dismissed from the training with no refund.

Once you’ve been accepted into the training, you can either pay off the balance of the training (at least five weeks before the start of the first module) or set up a monthly payment plan that gives you additional time to pay off your balance, with a 10% interest fee. Food and accommodation fees are required to be paid at least two weeks before each in-person event starts.

For scholarship recipients: You have the option for a 8-month payment plan in which you put down a $1,000 deposit for the LDT.
